'WORLD MINING INDUSTRY' ANNUAL

In 2005 «Russian Mining» magazine has realized for the first time in Russian information project - the annual
«WORLD MINING INDUSTRY» in Russian (orig. MIROVAYA GORNAYA PROMYSHLENNOST).
The aim of the annual is reviews and analysis of the most significant scientific research and achievement in world mining industry, new innovation in
mining engineering industry and condition in raw material complex as well.
«World Mining Industry» (history, achievements, prospects) is the annual edition on the state and the prospects of the world
mining industry and related sectors development. The editorial panel is headed by Yury Malyshev, the Corresponding Member
of Russian Academy of Science and President of the Academy of Mining Science. Chief Editor and Publisher is Konstantin Anistratov.
The book size is 400 pages. It is a full-colored edition in a stiff cover.
There is presented the analysis of the mineral resources base and the market of mineral resources consumption.
It is considered the tendency and prospects of the world energy and mining complex development, as well as the current state and the
key ways of mining industry development in the different countries of the world. The unique techniques of deposit development are described.
The historical facts are mentioned, and the current tendencies in the mining equipment development are analyzed, as well as rating of mining
equipment manufactured by the world leading producers is given. New scientific approaches to the rock mechanics investigation and the
world practical experience of environmental activity and mining safety are considered.
